(What is the story about? …

Eleven years ago, Monique Clermont and Lord Charles Rockingham shared a passionate few months, before the conflict between her acting career and his desire to travel, before he inherited the title of Earl of Stanningfield, tore them apart.

For that eleven years, Monique has kept a secret.  Now she is dying, and must face a difficult choice. A choice that can, really, result in only one thing.  She writes a letter, to be delivered to Charles after her death, and sends him a gift of love – the love that has not faded, no matter how many years they have been apart.)

(What is the story about? …

Madame Beaumarais is the most celebrated modiste in London, a genius at her art, and sought after by the ton – those who can afford her. But how did a frenchwoman come to be the most celebrated modiste in London, at the height of the Napoleonic wars?

You’ll see Madame as a secondary character in a number of the His Majesty’s Hounds books, but this is her story – and her personal happy ending! Enjoy discovering more about the people surrounding the Hounds.)

I have not been able to sign up for your newsletter, I cannot find the link to click on to: I love reading your books on my Kindle e-books. The Gift of love etc. I will go to Amazon.com.au and check using your directions. I live in NSW. Australia. We are burning up as you know. We have been evacuated and I read one of your books on one of my three Kindle e-readers. I grabbed them first when by phone “GET OUT NOW” Message. Then I collected two 5kg. 13 year old Malshi dogs helped to organize my Husband with our Fire Plan. I stayed calk and read the story that I loved the best in the Doyalson Wyee RSL. (Wonderful people). The stories people told about the fear of returning back to their houses and then to change the fear to “don’t worry about what has happened now, we cannot change it. we are Aussie’s we will survive this. We did. We were the lucky ones.
I have been married nearly 60 years and I seek out your books. Thank you. Arietta
